The legal student assistant supports the Head of the Secretariat with administrative and organisational tasks. This includes conducting independent legal research. She also handles incoming inquiries addressed to the Institution, with the aim of assisting individuals in matters related to human rights.
Education and experience
Aina Gul (she/her) has been working at the Swiss Institution for Human Rights since January 2026. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in law at the University of Lucerne. Previously, she held various positions in the private sector and holds a Bachelor's degree in business law. She has also volunteered with an NGO specialising in asylum and migration issues.
