Véronique Boillet

Véronique Boillet is a professor of public law at the University of Lausanne, a qualified lawyer and a member of the Federal Ethics Committee for Non-Human Biotechnology. In recent years, her research activities have allowed her to explore various issues, such as discrimination based on nationality, sexual orientation and gender, as well as the protection of migrant individuals affected by domestic violence. She is currently involved in the following research projects: Switzerland by bike! A lever for the ecological and social transformation of mobility, How to plan ecological and social transformation? Scenarios and public policies, Challenging Binarity: A socio-legal study on the making of (self)identification by Swiss law and administration, and “Legal implications of scientific rationalisation for new plant breeding technologies”, within the framework of National Research Programme 84.
